Formed in a joint venture between Cargill’s UK fresh poultry business and Faccenda, we’ve built on the experience and expertise gained from five decades’ at the forefront of modern food production.     ![Avara-Factory-April2022-Hires-179](https://www.avarafoods.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/Avara-Factory-April2022-Hires-179.jpg?noresize&width=3360&height=2240&name=Avara-Factory-April2022-Hires-179.jpg) ## Our recipe for success It’s not what we do that sets us apart. It’s how we do it. Most importantly, it’s our dedicated teams that make it all possible. Our workforce is a melting pot of skills and expertise, with colleagues from the UK, Europe and beyond. We are proud to be a diverse, inclusive company where people oversee every part of a production process that stretches from farms and feed mills all the way to our customers’ doors.  We have worked hard to establish ourselves as a trusted business.  We’ve achieved this by setting, and achieving, high standards, working closely with a range of partners and through excellent performance across a range of regular and independent audits and assurance.    ![AVARA WEDNESBURY 2025-08102](https://www.avarafoods.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/AVARA%20WEDNESBURY%202025-08102.jpeg?noresize&width=3252&height=2917&name=AVARA%20WEDNESBURY%202025-08102.jpeg) ## Our Culture **We pride ourselves on being a values-led business; one that is inclusive and not only achieves high standards, but consistently strives to push them higher.**  We’re proud of what we do, but it’s the way that we do it that sets us apart, and our culture is critical.  No matter who you are, what you do or where you’re from, we believe that there’s a place for you at Avara.  What’s more, we see that diversity as a strength, with different backgrounds offering different insights and helping us make better decisions for our customers and consumers.  We take our responsibilities extremely seriously.  We’re food producers and have live animals in our supply chain, and both demand a thoughtful and rigorous approach.  That’s why our standards are so important.  We will not cut corners or accept second best when it comes to the health, welfare and safety of our people, our food or the animals in our business. Equally importantly is that, over time, we keep pushing those standards too, so that our business approach is one of continual improvement. ![AVARA TELFORD 2025 165-2](https://www.avarafoods.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/AVARA%20TELFORD%202025%20165-2.jpg?noresize&width=4698&height=3132&name=AVARA%20TELFORD%202025%20165-2.jpg) ## Want to know more about what we do?
