We were honoured at the recent Sustainability Leaders Awards 2019 having been shortlisted for our success in reducing carbon emissions.

As well as being the first in our sector to implement an energy management system certified to an internationally recognised standard of excellence (ISO50001), we have slashed our emissions by more than 6,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent since 2015, saving almost £1m in energy costs.

Baishakhi Sengupta, Energy Compliance & Sustainability Manager, has been instrumental in designing and implementing our improved energy management system. “It is a real honour to have led the team responsible for delivering this project and for our success to be recognised at such a prestigious event; we have an excellent team of engineers without whom this would not have been possible.
