Dyana Webb, Agricultural Assurance Manager based at our Tram Inn site in Herefordshire, was recently named the winner of the Verner Wheelock Auditing Student of the Year Award.

Verner Wheelock offers professional training and accreditation to the food industry across a range of disciplines including health and safety, food safety and nutrition among others. Launched in 2015 to coincide with its 25th anniversary, the Verner Wheelock Excellence Awards reward excellence in HACCP, food safety and auditing.

Dyana began her audit training with Verner Wheelock as she wanted to formalise and hone her auditing skills and was delighted to be named winner in the auditing category.

“I’m really grateful to Avara for enabling me and giving me the opportunity to do this training,” commented Dyana Webb. “Winning the award for Auditing Student of the Year was a fantastic surprise, and I’m so pleased to have been recognised in this way. I would encourage all Avara colleagues to explore the training opportunities open to them – I’ve found it really rewarding.”
